متطلب الإسعافات الأولية

Foster care in Belize is coordinated by the Ministry of Human Development, Families and Indigenous Peoples' Affairs, which screens applicants, conducts a home assessment and provides preparation before placement. Although published guidance focuses on the applicant's suitability and the assessment, a recognized first-aid and CPR certificate is commonly expected so a carer can respond to everyday emergencies — injuries, choking, an unresponsive child — including CPR for children and infants.

Where required, the certificate is recognized by the Ministry and kept current through periodic renewal. It is one element of caregiver readiness that supports — and does not replace — the home study, background checks and the demonstrated ability to care for a child in the home.

نتّبع بدقة توصيات ILCOR (International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation)، الهيئة الدولية المسؤولة عن التقييم العلمي ووضع المعايير العالمية في الإنعاش القلبي الرئوي. وتُعدّ هذه التوصيات مرجعًا للمؤسسات الصحية والمنشآت والهيئات المهنية في جميع أنحاء العالم — ويجري تحديثها مع تطوُّر الأدلة العلمية والسريرية.
